We are mailing this early to allow everyone time to arrange for vacation time and make necessary travel plans. While the deadline for receiving your registration is Aug. 15, we would like to hear from you as soon as possible so that we can start making plans. This will also help us prepare the reunion booklet.
Bobbie Altschuh Verstraete maintains a web page for us on the Internet. She is keeping a list of email addresses on it to make it easier for classmates to keep in touch. If you have one, please give her permission to add it to the list. The Normandy Class of 1963 web address is http://home.swbell.net/bobbiev/normandy. If you have an email account that you prefer not to have posted, please send the address anyhow for our record but indicate that it is for the reunion committee's record only.
Each reunion it is harder to locate classmates. Included with the reservation form is a questionnaire that would help us in the future. Some of the questions may seem personal, such as the name and phone number of your employer. If a question bothers you, please just ignore it. What is especially useful is the name and number of whoever is most likely to know where you are if you move. Please take the time to fill this out and return it to us even if you will not be able to join us in August.

We also want you to know that a portion of the surplus from the last reunion was used to donate $150 to the Morris Blitz Scholarship Fund. This fund, administered by the Normandy High School Alumni Association, provides Normandy seniors with $2,500 scholarships. We intend to make a similar donation this year if the funds are available.
